"Pretty clear on the pricing"
No surprise fees or anything. Knew what I was going to pay, which was nice

"Awesome icons, but kinda chunky"
These icons look really good, no doubt. Only thing is they make the pages load a bit slower, which is kinda a bummer. Still nice overall, just a little heavy.

"Font Awesome is easy to..."
Font Awesome is easy to use when I need to find an icon quickly. The filters help a lot, and the preview makes it simple to see if something will actually work before I grab it. My only gripe is that some pages feel a bit too busy, so I end up clicking around more than I should. Not totally my fault if I get sidetracked in there. Overall though, it does the job well and saves me time

"Missing too many basic icons"
I keep running into the same issue where I search for a standard icon and it’s just not there. The selection feels way too limited for what I need, and it’s kind of frustrating because I really wanted this to work for me

"Docs are really okay, just a little messy"
The fontawesome docs really helped me get started, but a few parts felt a bit outdated or hard to track down. It’s not bad overall, just really could be a little clearer in some spots.

"fontawesome has a ton of icons, and for..."
fontawesome has a ton of icons, and for basic stuff it works well. But when I try to customize things more, it starts to feel less smooth and kind of frustrating. Some styling is simple enough, but anything deeper feels like I’m being passed around between different settings, docs, or workarounds without really getting what I need. It’s fine overall, just not as flexible as I’d like...

"I do like that fontawesome gets..."
I do like that fontawesome gets updated regularly. For me, it makes the whole thing feel alive and maintained instead of like I’m pulling icons from some old library nobody is touching anymore.

That said, not every update feels super useful for my own projects. Sometimes I see new icons and think, “Nice, I can use that right away,” and other times they feel kind of random for the stuff I’m actually building.

I’m giving it 4 stars because there are still a few common icons I personally wish they’d add faster. But overall, the steady updates and fixes are a big plus for me.

"Found the icons quicker than I thought I would"
I was just looking for a few clean icons and expected the site to make me dig around forever or push me toward some upgrade, but it was straightforward. Browsing was easy, downloads were quick, and I found what I needed way faster than expected. Happy with it overall.

"Pro subscription is honestly worth it"
I’ve been using the Pro subscription and it’s been really helpful, there are tons of icons to choose from, and it saves me time pretty much every week. Instead of hunting around forever, I can just find what I need and move on, totally worth it for me.

"Recently used it and the free icons were helpful"
I just used it recently for a project, so that’s still fresh in my mind. The free icons came in handy and saved me some time, but I did run into a few cases where the icon I wanted wasn’t there. Overall, useful, though I’d love to see more options added.

"Nice icons, but too many loading headaches"
I like the icons themselves, but I’ve had the CDN break on me more than once, and the packages don’t feel very reliable. I ended up wasting a bunch of time chasing random loading issues that shouldn’t really be my problem. I’m also not super confident customer service would be much help if it happens again, so that makes me hesitant to rely on it for anything important...

"Icons just don’t look as good anymore"
I used Font Awesome on a small site recently, the icons didn’t look as polished as I remembered. Some were weirdly chunky, others felt too thin, and when I put them together they didn’t really feel like they belonged in the same set.

A few of the common icons also looked rough at smaller sizes. The details got muddy or the shape just felt a little off, so I ended up spending way more time swapping icons around than actually designing the page.

What made it more frustrating was that whenever I looked for answers, the vibe felt kind of like I was being told I just wasn’t using them right. Maybe it works great for other people, but for me the design quality felt messy and not worth the hassle.

"Canceling was more annoying than it should’ve been"
I tried to cancel my billing and it took longer than I expected. The whole process felt kind of frustrating, and what made it worse was that nobody followed up with me afterward. I had to keep checking on it myself, which was annoying...

"Took more effort than I expected"
The icons themselves look totally fine, no issue there. But actually getting everything set up on my site was kind of a pain. The docs felt like they jumped around, and the kit setup had me second-guessing what I was supposed to do next. For something that seemed like it should be quick, it just... took way longer than I expected.

"Still works on my old sites"
I’ve got Font Awesome running on a couple of older sites, and so far the updates haven’t messed anything up, which is basically enough proof for me that it’s doing its job. I mostly stick with it because I don’t want to randomly discover missing or broken icons later. The older icons still seem to be supported fine, so I don’t really have much reason to switch.

"Support got back to me quickly"
I had a small issue with my account and reached out to support, not really knowing how long it would take. They got back to me faster than I expected, which was reassuring. It did take one extra message to fully sort everything out, but they were clear, helpful, and followed through. Overall, it felt like I was dealing with a team I could trust

"React setup kind of threw me off"
I had a annoying time getting the React setup going, and I was a bit confused most of the way through. The docs didn’t really clear things up, especially when I tried to figure out how it was supposed to work with Vue
